My name is Alan C. Jones. I retired from the Internal Revenue Service on July 31, 2000. I was with the Collection Division for over 34 years and spent the last eight of those years doing Offers-in-Compromise.

I am now representing taxpayers from the "other side of the table" and am offering my services to those of you who may have some "challanges" with regards to demands being made by the IRS.

In 1998, the Offer-in-Compromise provisions of the Internal Revenue Code were expanded to allow many more situations to be covered.
